John Fisher, the founder of rethinking IT and the creator of the Rethink Framework, has implemented business solutions through
technology in the banking, insurance, business services and non-profit sectors.
John was named one of the

Computerworld, (Press
Release), In 2002 John was named CIO of the Year by the Chicago Chapter
of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). He is on
several advisory boards and is a frequent speaker at industry and community
events.
John is an adjunct faculty member for DePaul University's College of Computing and Digital Media,
where he teaches graduate level courses in IT Strategy, E-Commerce, Project
Management and System Design Techniques.
He retired from SmithBucklin
Corporation, the world's largest association management company, where he
served as their CIO for 10 years. John also held senior management
positions at CNA Insurance Companies and Continental Bank.
John serves on the advisory board for SignMeUp.COM,
The Illinois Executive
Exchange, Illinois Technology
Association and the International Society
for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
